Welcome to Bennett Tower
Bennett Tower is one of the four residence halls on the Evansdale Campus affectionately known as the “Towers.” Bennett is conveniently located near many of the wonderful amenities the university has to offer. We are the closest hall on campus to the Student Recreation Center as well as the Towers Personal Rapid Transit station. There are also several sources of food nearby. Cafe Evansdale, the largest dining hall at the University, is just a short walk down the hallway. The Lyon’s Den is great for that late night craving you might get. Or for a quick to-go meal, you could quench your craving for Starbuck’s at the Brew ‘n Gold. If you’re interested in recreation, Bennett Tower has a basketball court and four tennis courts just outside its doors, as well as a sand volleyball court and athletic field.[Snippet Error: This file has been deleted.]
But those are just the tangible things that Bennett has to offer. At Bennett Tower, we are here to make you part of our ever growing university family. Our programs have been recognized for excellence and being a part of the Bennett family means holding yourself to a higher standard. It means doing your best in everything you do. Nobody wants to see you succeed more than we do and we will be here every step of the way to ensure your success. We will always attempt to provide an environment that allows you to grow and be successful academically, socially and emotionally. The Bennett Community will always promote the values of respect (for yourself and others), hard work, self-discipline, cooperation, and responsibility.
Realizing that academics are only one aspect of college life, we will also provide cultural and social programs, that are designed to encourage students to try new things, visit new places, meet new friends, or simply have a good time. The Bennett Tower Leadership Team will also encourage academic and personal integrity, practice civic responsibility and good stewardship, foster lifetime learning, have respect for human dignity and cultural diversity, and value wisdom and culture. Remember that living in Bennett Tower is a privilege, not a right. The Bennett Tower team will try their best to make you feel at home here. If you need anything, please let us know.
